Fire breaks out at a homeless camp in Des Moines, Iowa. October 12, 2012
A fire broke out in a homeless camp Friday morning, not far from the state capitol building in Des Moines. No one was hurt.
Firefighters say the structure was about the size of a small garage. They had a difficult time fighting the fire because they had to truck water to the scene through the woods.
The cause of the fire is not known, however firefighters noted that those who live at the camp were using propane tanks.
