A burn with a permit rekindles. The brush fire which started and was put out on March 6th had firefighters and equipment from Plattsmouth, Murray and Louisville back Monday.
The Cassgram reports Smoldering ashes deep inside reignited the pile in the strong winds yesterday. More trees and brush had been placed on the pile last week. Units began leaving the scene shortly before 5pm but some stayed longer as the brush pile was attended to.
