A patient at the Nebraska Medical Center is in desperate need for a donor and a New York based foundation is stepping in to try and help her find one.
The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America was started by Jennifer and Cynthia Flood along with other family members.
The Floods have saved many lives including their own father’s by finding live donors for critically ill patients. A woman from California donated a kidney for the Flood’s father after seeing an ad on Craigslist.
Now they’re looking for a donor for 24-year-old Molly Pearce. Pearce has a failing kidney, liver, pancreas and small intestine. They are hoping someone will read this story and contact them.
