Firefighters are looking into the cause of a fire in a vacant Omaha building Wednesday morning.
No injuries were reported in the blaze at the old Arrow Pawn and Loan near at 20th and Castelar. Crews were called to the scene around 5:45 a.m. The flames were contained to the second floor and were brought under control within an hour.
Additional firefighters were called to provide relief in the single-digit temperatures. Water from the hoses quickly iced over, creating slipping hazards.
The fire did an estimated $20,000 worth of damage.
