Fight Leads to Shots Fired in Lincoln, Four Arrested

Police say a verbal fight at the U-stop at 21st and K streets led to a chase in Southwest Lincoln.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. The driver of a Cadillac called police to say someone was chasing and shooting at him. Officers soon found the suspects in a gray Pontiac. Police say they chased the group until the car hit a stop sign and the suspects took off on foot. They were all arrested a short time later.

Police arrested 24-year-old Nicole Alvarado, 19-year-olds Donte Shields and Chelon Garcia and the driver, 21-year-old Kyle Daniels. All are facing multiple felony charges. Police also recovered a stolen firearm.
