The weekend will be full of people uniting to kick hunger. Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping is uniting with the Open Door Mission for a 24 hour kickboxing marathon to benefit the ODM Food Bank.

All six Farrell's Omaha locations are teaming up for the second year in a row to show support and give students and the community an opportunity to help fight hunger.

The event will be held at the Farrell's midtown location at 76th and Dodge, beginning Friday, December 7th at 5pm and ending 24 hours later on Saturday.

Donations of food or cash will be accepted while the Farrell's team will be constantly fighting for hunger, punching, kicking for 60 minute intervals for the entire 24 hour period, in hopes of drawing attention to the huge hunger problem in the heartland.

Each day Open Door Mission offers 816 safe, shelter beds to homeless men, women, and children. They also serve more than 2,000 hot, nutritious meals and provide preventative measures to more than 275 people living in poverty.

Guests are allowed to take part in the kickboxing classes with a food or cash donation at the door.
