An 18-year-old Omaha woman charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident was sentenced Wednesday to four to five years in prison.

Justice Wiggins pleaded guilty to failing to stop and render aid and to misdemeanor vehicular homicide.

Police say Wiggins struck a car at North 42nd and Ames around 12:45 a.m. last January 19th and she was speeding away when she ran a stop sign at Larimore Avenue and Fontenelle Boulevard, hitting an SUV and killing the driver, 23-year-old Brycel Jackson.

Three passengers in Wiggins' car suffered minor injuries in the second accident.
