Kim Streit is wrapping presents late this year. Christmas is the last thing on her mind since her 16 year old daughter Madison Pacheco went missing.
"I just want her home it is the holidays, it is Christmas and I just want her home," said Streit.
This mother can't think of a reason Maddy would have up and disappeared.
"Nope there was no fighting," said Streit.
She admits Maddy was having some trouble with grades, but not to the point her family would see her disappear.
Maddy was last seen at this Panera Bread on 177th and Center on December 7th.
Ever since then, the family's search has been non-stop.
"I want to think, and believe is she ran away. I don't want to think that she got abducted, I don't want to believe that," said Streit.
Police stations from Omaha to Lincoln to North Platte all know Maddy is missing.
"She wears her hair up in one of those messy buns. She really, long hair really long hair, so she always wears it up in one of those messy buns. She has one of those industrial piercings and she always wears a ton of bracelets," said Streit.
She is 5'8'', 180 lbs, and has brown hair. Her mother talks about her appearance as she stares at the presents under the tree. Many of them with the name tag: "To Maddy."
"She is my Christmas wish, I just want her to come home," said Streit.
The family said the outpouring from the community has been tremendous.
A facebook page titled "Where is Maddy" has become a hub for information. Over 2,000 people are circulating the page all trying to help locate the girl.
