An Omaha car wash is out 100 dollars and 2 wash cycles after two vehicles drove through paying with fake $50 bills.
The owner of the Symphony of Suds Car Wash near 30th and Sorensen Parkway called police on Friday after his daughter, the cashier at the car wash, had suspects in an SUV drive through, paying with a 50 dollar bill for a $10 car wash.
Another suspect drove up behind the SUV, and paid the same way. The owner's daughter showed her father the 2nd $50; he confronted the suspect when they were still in the wash.
When the owner told the suspect he wanted his money back, the suspect replied with an expletive, and told him, "you're not getting your money back."
The suspect then drove off onto Sorensen Parkway.
