The former Lincoln police officer accused of stealing from a police union charity will spend more time in prison.
Cassandra Briggs was sentenced to another 1-2 years in prison Tuesday morning.
The sentenced stems from a felony forgery charge that she pleaded no contest to in February.
Police say in December, Briggs told authorities someone misused her debit card.
Prosecutors said Briggs actually gave her mother the card to withdraw money to help raise her child while she's in prison.
Briggs is already serving time for stealing from LPD's Santa Cop program.
