A south Lincoln street has reopened following a chemical spill Thursday morning.
Saltillo Road between 77th and South 25th streets was closed after about 150 gallons of ethanol leaked from a truck as it unloaded at the Conoco Phillips plant.
Ethanol is highly flammable and can cause respiratory problems if its fumes are inhaled. Since the ethanol evaporated quickly, the risk to breathing and the risk of fire was low.
