Just after 12:00 there were reports of smoke in the cockpit.
Upon arrival the plane was met with fire trucks and rescue crews.
Once on the ground everyone on board made if off safely but all were forced to stay in Omaha for the night.
Despite the inconvenience in their travel plans, passengers say the airline and flight crew handled the situation quickly and professionally.
All passengers on board have been booked on a direct flight from Omaha to Phoenix at 8:15 this morning.
An initial search of the plane did not turn up anything but mechanics continue to look for the cause.
