Seventy-eight-year-old Janet Jordan is back in the hospital; listed in serious condition. Jordan was brutally assaulted in her home two weeks ago, allegedly, by 16-year-old Naushkoniwaheega Hamilton.
According to Jordan's niece, she was admitted to the hospital for a stomach ailment and should make a full recovery.
Jordan was attacked during a home invasion on October 22. She told police she heard a noise at the front door around 12:30 a.m. As she went to open it, the suspect kicked in the door and knocked her down. She told police he hit her in the head and tried to steal her TV, but ended up leaving empty-handed.
Hamilton remains behind bars on $200,000 bond. He is expected back in court on November 26.
