The holiday weekend was loaded with more than just eating and shopping. Police responded to a series of drunk driving crashes and it sounds like there might be adding another to the list.
Early Monday morning, a driver hit a power pole before slamming into a building. The scene was at 16th and Sprague just before 1:00 a.m.
The car knocked the natural gas line loose forcing M-U-D crews to the scene to cut off service.
Police say they smelled alcohol in the car and on the driver. Both people in the car were injured and taken to the hospital.
