Drum lines from across the world made their way into the Metro Monday night.
Hosted by the Millard South High School Band and Music Boosters, the 2014 Drum Across Nebraska drum corps show featured performances of seven of the world’s most elite marching music ensembles. One fan said it took her back to her days of music on the field.
"I think it is pretty amazing, I used to do it in high school and it makes me miss it a lot. The big bands are really cool to see cause in high school we were small, we weren't as big so the music is a lot better and the talent is a lot better,” Linsey Messerschmidt said.
It’s all part of the 2014 Drum Corps International Tour. Omaha is one of 100 competitive events taking place this summer across the nation.
