The snow continues to cause problems around town and it's not because it's still falling or blowing around.
The deep snow cleared off our streets had to be put somewhere and downtown there are mounds of snow in the middle of the road that divers have to negotiate.
It makes visibility dangerous when pedestrians are trying to cross the street.
Burt Street down by Creighton University had several mounds of snow in the street between 24th and 18th.
Another area of concern is in the downtown area itself.
At 20th and Douglas, mounds of snow have been piled near several intersections, again making it difficult for pedestrians and drivers.
A word of caution is to give these areas a little extra look until city crews can clean them up.
