The truck driver convicted in a deadly crash was sentenced Thursday to 30 days in jail, two years probation, a $1,000 fine and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.

Johnathan Westbrook was found guilty of misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide for running a red light and hitting a motorcycle, killing 35-year-old Nichole Locke on September 10, 2011.

Westbrook addressed the Locke family in court, saying, “I'm very sorry for everything. I really wish and pray it had never happened. I mean that from my heart.”
Channel 6 News spoke with Tony Locke following the sentence. Locke said he is "okay" with the punishment.
