A 67-year-old Irving, Texas woman died after a semi rammed the back of her van on Interstate 80 near Gothenberg, Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Carol Leonetti was driving east when she stopped her van just after 8 p.m. The truck struck the van, knocking it into the median. The truck then crossed into and through the westbound lanes, ending up in a ditch.
The truck driver was not hurt. It's not known why Leonetti came to a stop.
