The Papillion branch of the U.S. Post Office was closed Tuesday afternoon after a driver crashed into the building.

The crash happened at the Papillion branch, on North Adams Street, around 2pm. Officials reported that an older driver accidentally hit the gas, instead of the brake pedal and hit the glass doors.

Witnesses said a female customer was pinned between the car's bumper and a USA Today metal rack.

She was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver was not hurt.
