Police have identified the man they arrested in connection to the armed robberies at Dunkin' Donuts and Subway.
Forty-one-year-old Michael Grills was booked on three counts each of robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Donut shop employees told officers the suspect entered the business near South 144th and Pacific streets around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, pulled a gun and demanded money. After receiving the cash he ran from the scene.
Police say the same man ordered food at the Subway near South 144th and Industrial Road around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. When it came time to pay for it, he took out a gun and demanded cash from the register. The suspect left the scene with an undetermined amount of money in a pickup truck.
Investigators also believe Grills robbed the Subway at 23rd and L Street on October 16.
