Tuesday at the Salon turned out to be two years in the making for a Bellevue boy.
Jacob Calhoun let his hair grow out for that long so he could cut it all off at once.
The hair will be donated to a program that provides cancer wigs for free.
"My mom had cancer," said Jacob, "And when I figured out my hair might be able to do this I got excited because I wanted to help some people who have been through this."
Jacob plans to grow his hair out again.
We may see him back in the salon -- two years from now.
