Death Case Takes An Unusual Turn

Death leads to prison in assault case.

Scott Tingelhoff, Saunders County Attorney, reports Angelic Norris was sentenced to serve a term of imprisonment of not less than 7 years nor more than 15 years with the Department of Corrections following her conviction of Manslaughter in the Saunders County District Court. This sentence resulted from Angelic Norris violating the terms and conditions of her probation.

On September 18, 2010, an officer with the Wahoo Police Department was dispatched to the residence located at 1145 N Laurel St, Wahoo in regards to an assault on a resident by another resident. Witnesses said that the victim was pushed or thrown to the floor backward thus striking the back of her head by Angelic B. Norris. The victim later died due to her injuries.
