A Council Bluffs man is facing charges after being arrested for driving under the influence for the third time.
According to Omaha Police reports, officers saw 29-year-old Stephen Canick of Council Bluffs run a red light while driving west on Center Street near 78th Street just after 1AM Monday.
Officers stopped Canick's car near 84th and Center.
A data check showed Canick has an interlock permit only restriction for driving and was behind the wheel of a car without an installed interlock system.
The report also states Canick showed signs of intoxication and refused field sobriety tests.
A sobriety test administered later showed Canick testing more than twice the legal limit.
Canick was charged with third offense DUI, driving without an interlock system and running a red light.
