Iowa State fell short in the Sweet Sixteen against the University of Connecticut, but dozens of Cyclone fans gathered in Omaha to watch the game.
Throughout the tournament, Iowa State alumni and fans met up at Fox and Hound to cheer on their team. Each round the gathering got larger, until the sports bar gave the group their own room.
"It's so exciting to walk in especially in the world of Husker nation and see all these Cyclone fans. I guess there are about 2,300 Iowa State alum in the Omaha area, so it's great to see such a great showing," said Debbie Wagers, an Iowa State alumni.
Iowa State ultimately lost the game 81 to 76, ending their season.
