Creighton University is on G.I. Jobs magazine's "Military Friendly Schools List" for 2013. It is the first time the school has made the cut.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is also on the list. Read more HERE.
Creighton credits new criteria for the honor. The list is now compiled based on graduation rates, academic accreditation and post-education employment figures. It was previously largely based on the number of enrolled military students.
Creighton is home to a Yellow Ribbon Program that provides partial funding for veterans to help cover the cost of tuition and fees.
Up to 200 veterans per year can pursue an undergraduate education through Creighton’s University College for little to no cost.
