A minor crash is to blame for cutting off power to nearly 2,000 OPPD customers Thursday night.
First responders were called to 72nd & Grover just after 7:30 p.m.
They found a car had crashed into a power pole.
The accident caused a blackout for 1,936 customers according to OPPD's outage map. Viewers and police scanner reports indicated the outage stretched from 72nd to 84th and Grover to Center.
As of 10:30 p.m., the power was restored to the neighborhood.
At this point it's not clear what caused the crash.
