Two vehicle accident at highway intersection. Cass County sheriff’s deputies and Eagle/Alvo fire and rescue responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 63 just outside of Eagle about 2pm.
The Cassgram reports an eastbound vehicle on Highway 34 was turning northbound on to Highway 63 and failed to yield to a vehicle traveling westbound. The vehicle responsible for the accident was driven by 19-year-old Charles Bloomfield from Blair, said Sheriff Brueggemann, and the other vehicle was driven by Sondra McCoy from Otoe. Both vehicles had passengers.
McCoy and her husband Bryan were both transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Bloomfield and the passenger in his vehicle were not injured. The accident investigation is complete.
