Country Band's Equipment Stolen While In Omaha

Country music band Heath Wright and the Hangmen had more than $13,000 in instruments and equipment stolen while in Omaha for a show over the weekend.

Heath Wright is also the front man for the country group Ricochet.

Some members of the group were staying at the Motel 6 at 84th and I-80 when their van full of equipment was broken into early Saturday morning in the motel parking lot.

Numerous amps and gear were taken including Wright's acoustic guitar valued at $5,800. Two other electric guitars were also stolen valued at $1,400 and $1,700 each.

The group was able to borrow equipment for a Saturday evening show in Omaha.
