Fact Finders investigation updated with sentencing of suspect.
Scott Tingelhoff, Saunders County Attorney, reports Scott Mohr was sentenced to serve a term of imprisonment of not less than 4 years nor more than 12 years with Department of Corrections and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $5,669.80 following his conviction of theft by Unlawful Taking - over $1,500.00, in the Saunders County District Court.
Between January 1, 2012 and June 27, 2012, Ted Green, an investigator with the Saunders County Attorney’s Office, was notified by the victim that there was a theft of copper irrigation wire with a value of over $1,500.00. Investigators conducted a search of the area and located evidence belonging to Scott Mohr.
A lengthy investigation gathered information that close to 1,500 pounds of copper has been stripped off of center pivots in Saunders County, Dodge County, and Douglas County.
