Colorado Snow

Ski lovers must be happy! January ended with a bang as Vail Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States, received another nine inches of fresh powder snow, bringing the week’s cumulative total to two feet.

The resort opened an additional terrain on Friday, including the Mongolia Lift (#22) and terrain in Outer Mongolia Bowl, raising the skiable terrain to more than 5,000 acres.

Vail is celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout the 2012-2013 season. The resort is under blue skies more than 300 days each year and with more groomed terrain than anywhere on the planet. For more information go to www.vail.com.
