If you've been outside, you already know it's the coldest day of the season.
We thought we'd find those who love this weather hanging out at the Henry Doorly Zoo.
Can you believe it. The polar bear was hiding in his den but the American black bear was chilling, so to speak.
The giraffes can never go out on days like today.
For one, they're from Africa.
And two, they can easily slip and fall on the ice and break a leg.
"They are confused if they've been in for a few weeks and then we get a great day, they kind of look at the door as, 'really? are you sure?" Christie Eddie of the Zoo said.
the rhinos went in because of the cold too.
Saturday is "community free day" at the zoo.
Admission is free.
