A Lincoln man is enjoying the aroma of the Lancaster County jail after resorting to violence to steal a bag of potpourri. Police say Jaylon Moore threatened a store clerk with a knife before stealing the potpourri.

Police report that Moore also attempted to steal a $150 glas bowl pipe from Dirt Cheap at 2704 Randolph. The clerk was able to keep Moore from grabbing it.

The value of the porpourri that was taken was listed as $25. Moore was located several blocks from the store. When the clerk identified him as the thief, Moore was arrested for robbery. Police found the potpourri in the right pocket of his pants.
