Channel Six News gets confirmation that city crews in Papillion, La Vista and Bellevue finished plowing the roads on Wednesday afternoon.
La Vista declared a snow emergency on Tuesday at noon. They canceled that snow emergency on Wednesday at noon. Their crews worked in 12 hour shifts through the night and into the morning. They finished plowing by 3:30 p.m., though some crews continued to spot sand and plow.
In Papillion, crews worked overnight Tuesday and finished Wednesday afternoon. Their crews also worked in 12 hour shifts.
In Bellevue, their plows worked until late Tuesday night. Some crews continued through the night, but most crews started back up again at 4 a.m. They finished plowing by about 10:30 a.m., but continued spot plowing until about 2 p.m.
