A child was struck by a rolling vehicle Sunday afternoon in west Omaha.
Douglas County Sheriff's Department deputies said a 6-year-old girl got inside the car parked in a garage just southwest of North 174th and Blondo around 5:40 p.m. She knocked the transmission into neutral, causing the car to roll backward, striking her 4-year-old sibling playing behind it.
The 4-year-old was critically injured, but is expected to survive.
