Eagle man pleads guilty to a felony charge for having child pornography on his cell phone. The state will recommend a prison sentence of not less than 16 months and not more than 36 months. The defense will be allowed to argue for a lesser sentence.
The plea agreement also resulted in seven other charges being dropped against 23-year-old Brian Mills.
The Cassgram reports Mills pled guilty to possession of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving children.
The prosecution said a man who resided with Mills found the pictures on Mills’ phone and contacted the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
Mills will be required to place his name on the state sex offender registry.
Sentencing in Cass County District Court is set for April 8th. Mills has been in Cass County Jail since his arrest in early January.
