Police say charges are pending after a crash sent an Omaha man to the hospital Sunday morning.
Officers say 29-year-old Kenneth Jones III lost control of his car just after midnight and slammed into two trees on the north side of Paxton Boulevard in Fontenelle Park.
Jones was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with a head injury and a broken arm. Police described his injuries as serious, but not life threatening.
Investigators say "both speed and alcohol are considered factors" in the crash.
