Omaha Police tried to pull over a stolen Jeep but the driver hit the gas instead.
It was just after 2:30 a.m. when officers on patrol near 30th & Ames spotted the blue Jeep. The driver didn't pull over and instead took off for Sorenson Parkway, then south on Highway 75. A frosty patch of concrete on the bridge to I-480 eastbound helped bring the chase to a close.
The Jeep spun out of control, hitting a wall before coming to a stop. The driver, 23 year-old Robert Myers was booked for theft by recieving and possession of Meth. 38 year-old Michael Carter was booked for possession cocaine.
