A man and woman were hospitalized following a shooting in Omaha late Saturday night.
Police say four people in a car had just left a gas station when an unknown vehicle pulled up alongside them and someone inside opened fire at 39th and Redick, near the McMillan Magnet Center Middle School, around 11:45 p.m. The victims drove to a home near 37th Street and Himebaugh Avenue and called police.
Twenty-five-year-old Donnell Pierce was in critical condition at the Nebraska Medical Center, 56-year-old Vernita Hadley was in serious condition. Both are expected to survive.
