A man and woman were taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at 24th and Douglas.
According to police, a Mustang ran a red light on 24th Street. The Mustang crashed into a van that was on Douglas, causing the van to flip.
The male driver of the van was thrown. It's believed, by police, that he was not wearing a seat belt. Both he and his wife, the passenger in the van, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mustang was not seriously injured. Investigators at the scene told Channel 6 News the Mustang driver did not have a license or insurance and had not licensed his car since purchasing it in Missouri in 2010.
