Two more arrests were made in connection to a car jacking at Chepo's Auto Shop.
The victim, 35-year-old Roberto Sandoval, told police the suspect came into Chepo's Auto Shop, at 36th and F Street, and demanded a white Chevy Tahoe that was being worked on. The suspect was armed with a gun.
Police were able to identify the suspect as 30-year-old Jesse Byers. At the time of his arrest on Tuesday, police said Byers was in possession of a stolen vehicle. He was booked for possession.
Thirty-four-year-old Stephen Monarrez and 22-year-old Sandra Partida were also arrested. Monarrez was booked for robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony, possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, and possession of a stolen firearm. Partida faces charges for accessory to a felony.
No additional details were released in regards to how Monarrez and Partida are allegedly tied to the case.
