Car Crash Causes Power Outage
It was an especially dark night for a few people in Omaha, but all the lights are back on now.
Around 10 p.m. Thursday, Channel 6 crews noticed a stretch of Dodge where all traffic lights and business lights were out, stretching from 72nd to 84th streets.
Police say a car crashed into a power pole near Children's Hospital at 78th and Farnam.
At the height of the outage, more than 500 people were without power. All service was restored by 3 a.m. Friday.
