Cameras Used Inside Home Air Ducts

It allows technicians to see that dirt and dust are being removed. It also gives the customer a birdseye view into what they are paying for.

Cory Miller of Ductmedic said, “There needs to be accountability. So we prefer to use the video method in which while we’re cleaning, we’re going to be making a video from inside your duct work so you can see the debris coming out.”

Earlier this year a Six on Your Side investigation found a differenct duct cleaning company didn’t do a good job cleaning ducts in another house.

Duct cleaning technicians don’t have to be licensed and there is no oversight by the state.
