South Sioux City schools were locked down after a 911 caller said a man with a gun had entered a school.

Television station KTIV says all the district schools were
locked down soon after the call at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Police searched
the schools and found nothing, so the all-clear was given a little
after 9 a.m.

District Superintendent Vernon Fisher says there's no reason to
believe the call was directed at any particular school in the
district.
