This past year, 93% of College of Saint Mary (CSM) nursing graduates who took the licensure exam to be a Registered Nurse, passed it the first time they sat for their test.
This is compared to an 84% first-time pass rate of all those who took it in Nebraska and 83 % of those who took it across the nation.
In addition, 100% of CSM’s practical nursing students who took their test passed it the first time.
A spokesperson for the college says credit goes to CSM’s faculty, "who do a wonderful job preparing these women to work in our hospitals, physician’s offices and clinics throughout Neb. and our nation."
