Burgler Finds Jewelry Box
An Omaha woman returns home to discover someone broke into her home and took jewelry worth $10,000.
According to the police report the 43-year-old woman had been out of town and when she returned to her home in the area of 168th and Maple noticed the backdoor was broken.
The report did not indicate the house had been ransacked but when the woman went to check on her jewelry box it was missing.
The report does not indicate there are any suspects in the burglary.
