Burglary Victim Arrested For Robbery

A woman who reported a burglary Friday morning was arrested later in the day for robbery.

Omaha police spoke with 45-year-old Lisa Chavez just before 10:30 a.m. She said the residence near North 33rd and California streets had been burglarized on Thursday and several items were taken.

Four hours later, police were called to South 20th Street and Van Camp Avenue to investigate a reported home invasion robbery. The victims told officers several people forced their way into the residence.

One man and three women were arrested, including Chavez. The items taken were found on the suspects.
