Omaha's police helicopter helped track down two burglary suspects Saturday morning.

Police were called to 113th and Evans to investigate a report of glass breaking. An officer on the ground spotted the suspect’s vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed around 1:30 a.m. and tried to pull it over at 108th and Center, but the driver wouldn’t stop.

The helicopter followed the speeding car to 92nd and Mockingbird where it stopped and the two men inside got out and ran, but were soon captured.

Police found stolen items and burglary tools inside the vehicle. A vehicle parked at 113th and Evans had been broken into, its window smashed.
