Eight teenagers ranging in age from 13 to 16 were arrested Friday for burglary.
The suspects were gone by the time police arrived at a home near North 36th Avenue and Summit Street just before 2 p.m. Someone had called to report a group of boys taking items from the residence.
At 5:18 p.m., police were again called to the house to investigate a burglary in progress. Officers found the suspects nearby. They were questioned and booked into the Douglas County Youth Center. Five of the eight also had warrants. One was also booked for criminal impersonation.
