Lincoln police say a man broke into a woman's downtown apartment and took a nap wearing her pajamas and jewelry.

The woman called police Thursday afternoon to report a man sleeping in her bedroom in the apartment on the 100 block of South 18th Street. He was wearing two necklaces and pajama pants belonging to her. He also had a bottle of perfume.

Police say the victim screamed at the man and told him to leave, but he laughed at her.

Forty-year-old Shawn Whitehorse was arrested on suspicion of burglary. The victim reported missing electronics and other items, which have not been retrieved.
