A 17-year-old Bryan High School student was cited for allegedly getting into a fight with a police officer.
According to police, the teen was supposed to go to the Principal's Office, but instead got upset with the School Resource Officer in the school entrance, between two doors. During the altercation, the teen hit his head on the glass door, causing the glass to shatter.
The teen suffered a minor injury from the impact. He was cited for criminal mischief, assault on an officer, and third degree assault - a misdemeanor.
OPS spokesperson Todd Andrews said, “The district is investigating.”
